REINCARNATED FAIRY.
REINCARNATED FAIRY
I've often wondered if some of us arrive in this world already speaking nature's language.
This painting is a glimpse into my happiest place. The place where colour feels brighter, my thoughts become quieter and my nervous system finally exhales.
I spend much of my life weaving between busy streets and peaceful places, always searching for ways to bring a little more wilderness into everyday living. Hidden amongst the flowers is a tiny home, because my greatest dream has always been to live as close to nature as possible, where birds are the alarm clock and wild things are neighbours.
And then there's the thought that has followed me since I was a little girl...
If reincarnation exists, I'd like to come back as a fairy.
Not because of magic, but because fairies belong to forests, flowers, moss and old trees. They remind us that wonder still exists if we choose to look for it.
Perhaps that's why I feel so at home in nature.
Or perhaps...
I'm simply returning to somewhere I've always belonged.
